Do you have a title for the upcoming cd?

NILEXISTENCE

Yes, the title of the album is Existence In Revelation. Well our drummer Kyle came up with it and I think he just had a lot going on in his life and I think at the time he was just having a lot of revelations about what life really is to him and hence the name was born.

Is this your first CD and if not, how will this one be different from the others?

NILEXISTENCE

This will be our debut album.

ATP

Have you written all the songs or will you be writing them as you record?

NILEXISTENCE

We have already written and recorded the album and we're just waiting for it to be mix and mastered which will be handled by Hertz Studio in Poland who have recorded Behemoth, Decapitated and Hate among many other bands but they will be starting that at the beginning of March and once that's done we will be searching for a label so that we can get this put out.

Walk us thru the process of writing your music?

NILEXISTENCE

Well during this album we chose to write most of the lyrics first and then I (Dave) went and wrote the songs over them. Then Kyle and I get together and go through the songs and move any little things we feel should be moved and just cement the songs into what they actually are now.

Where will you be recording and why?

NILEXISTENCE

We recorded at Watchman Studios in Lockport, NY and like I said earlier in the interview we will be sending it to Hertz Studios for the mix and mastering. I would say go to Watchman because its close to where we live, they have good prices and Doug, the guy who runs the studio, is a efficient and super solid engineer. As for Hertz Studio for the mix and mastering, they have handled many albums that we look up to and love so we figured we'd let them handle it.

How are you paying for your recording?

NILEXISTENCE

With money that took a fuck long to save ha.

Will you have a producer or will you self-produce? If so, what kind of input will the producer have. If your self-producing, why?

NILEXISTENCE

Its self-produced but our engineer helps us figure out some little bullshit along the way but I would say we do it cause its our music so who would now how to arrange it better than us?!?!

Will you try to capture your "live sound" or are you going for something else?

NILEXISTENCE

We're just trying to get something heavy with some good fucking tones and a solid production.

Does your record label have any input into the music you'll be recording?

NILEXISTENCE

We will actually be label searching once the record gets back from mix and mastering.

When can we expect the CD to be available?

NILEXISTENCE

Hopefully asap but we see how it goes with the label search.

Where will we be able to pick up a copy?

Will you be touring to promote your CD?

NILEXISTENCE

We are hoping to actually tour before we get it out in support of what is to come but definitely after we get it out.

Would rather be recording or playing live shows?

NILEXISTENCE

Well as much as I love playing live, there is just so much bullshit that can make them a hellish nightmare so I would say recording for me, mostly cause that's when you get to hear all your hard work come together as a solid piece.

Anything that you'd like to say to your fans while they wait for the album to come out?

NILEXISTENCE
