In 2012 Asylum Butchery launched in the live scene of Adelaide to an amazing response. Within the short period of time that they have been playing shows there has been a steady increase in fans and also a major shift in the movement of the music.

At the end of 2012 they walked into the studio to record their first 2 tracks that have appeared on a demo CD as well as the track Daydream being featured on the Ear Bleeders CD that was released alongside the April 2013 edition of Blunt Magazine.

Since their debut on the live scene Asylum Butchery have had the pleasure to share the stages with many of Australia s great metal bands such as Brazen Bull (QLD), A Million Dead Birds Laughing (VIC), Tzun Tzu (SA), 4 Dead In 5 Seconds (QLD), Quaero Verum (SA) & SE BON KIRA (SA).

In 2013 they are once again heading into the studio to work on their first official EP which will be featuring all of the songs that have been played live since the debut. Once the EP is completed they will embark on a relentless live schedule to support the release while also working on their first debut album.

Asylum Butchery are considered a mixture of all different genres of metal and do not fit into one specific mould and continue to expand their range and experience with every live show that they perform. Stay tuned for more to come.
