INSULT formed 16 years ago in Jena, Germany, and despite several lineup changes the band is still very much active. The three remaining founding members have been making music with the three newer ones for about three years now, and are in the process of composing their ninth album in total. The music feels like a compendium of any type of heavy music, blended with experimental, contrast-rich stints into other styles. This unique kind of playing shaped across the various stylistic cycles the band went through. Their trademark are very intense live shows, that have found an audience in a number of local clubs like the KASSABLANCA Jena.
