After the group disbanded Tessaract, in 2007 Simon Kentervil organized a new project called Starving Souls. In autumn 2007 was recorded demo ĞAwakeğ, which included the first three songs of the group.

March 23, 2008 in Kharkov planetarium, the first concert of the group dedicated to the 10th anniversary of the fan club Queen. The group then took part in a variety of touring at that point hike in Kharkov. In June 2008 Summer Music fest was held in Dnepropetrovsk where Starving Souls debuted outside the home. Soon after, followed by several more visits to the various concerts and festivals in cities such as Kiev, Kremenchug, Severodonetsk, Krivoy Rog, Dnepropetrovsk Chernigov and again.

In May 2009, for health reasons drummer left the band Blind Pue and was replaced Narim Rzaev. With a new drummer that summer was recorded composition Oldman's Deep in the VIP's rec, who finished second in the voting in the weekly chart at St. Piterburzhskom Demo-music.ru. The single entered the collection BS Compilation vol.3 and received good reviews.

In November, took a mini tour of the autonomous region of Crimea, Simferopol and Sevastopol, and also ended the concert in Kharkov 2009 concert year.
